Pleasant Grove Youth Football has on ongoing tradition of amazing Team Moms.
We believe that a dedicated team mom is a vital key to a positive experience in youth football. Pleasant Grove Youth Football Team Moms work together with their coaches and the PGYF Board to help create an environment that fosters team unity, team spirit, pride, and celebration. Team moms also assist coaches and the PGYF Board in facilitating such things as equipment collection, team photos, and distributing information when needed. Below you will find information on PGYF Team Mom responsibilities and expectations:

How do I become a PGYF Team Mom?
If you are interested in becoming a Team Mom, please notify your coach. Your coach will determine who the team mom is for his team. Is there only one Team Mom per team? We have found that is it easier for the coaches and PGYF to work with one Team Mom, however, a Team Mom in encouraged to have other parents help her with whatever she needs.
What are the responsibilities and expectations of a PGYF Team Mom?
- Work with your teamʼs coach to establish your specific responsibilities
- Attend the required PGYF Team Mom Meeting (Date and time will be posted soon)
- Organize an end of season Team Celebration
- Organize a beginning of the season Team social
- Create a team roster to be distributed to families (player name and jersey number)
- Facilitate game day pride builders
- Organize half-time snacks and after game drinks
- Help to keep your team informed of upcoming events
- Keep confidentialities when needed
- Help with equipment pick up
- Help with team pictures
- Be a positive and supportive example for your team
Where can I find support and ideas?
Pleasant Grove Youth Football will have a meeting for all team moms at the beginning of the season. This meeting is required and will address important information for the upcoming season. It is also is a great opportunity to share ideas and learn from other team moms regarding team parties, pride builders, and other fun ideas.
Team moms are strongly encouraged to utilize other parents and volunteers from your team to help with team mom responsibilities.
